Multiplexers in the range of visible wavelengths
The product family of the fiber optical multiplexers (several diodes in one housing feeding into one fiber) from IMM Photonics has been recently extended by additional wavelengths applications.
The multiplexers in the range of the visible light are built on the long-term experience on architecture of multiplexers in IR range applications.
The platform strategy enables to couple different wavelengths cost-effective into one fiber.
Pigtailed housings with a freely selectable connector at the end of the fiber are standard. Optional for multimode applications multiplexer housings can have a built in connector e.g. SMA, ST or FC etc.
In a medical pilot laser application 532 nm and 635 nm are coupled into one fiber. Architectures with wavelengths for fluorescence stimulation are also possible.
Customer specific design variations are do able in example for collimated open beam utilisation.
