    Achromatic cemented waveplates

The achromatic waveplates are made from 25.4 mm crystalline quartz substrate and magnesium fluoride. These substrates are cemented to each other. This reduces the number of surfaces requiring AR coating while increasing the physical size in order to allow for larger beam diameters.
